Key Highlights

Proven Producer

In operation since 1996, Eloise has mined over 14.5Mt of ore to produce 376,000 tonnes of copper and 195,000 ounces of gold in concentrate.

Consistent Delivery

Eloise has met or exceeded production guidance for 11 consecutive quarters.

Growing Resource Base

Ongoing exploration continues to replace mining depletion and grow the resource, supporting a long mine life.

Eloise Copper Mine

Overview

The Eloise Copper Mine is a high-grade copper-gold underground operation located 60 kilometres southeast of Cloncurry in North Queensland. Since commissioning in 1996, Eloise has produced over 400,000 tonnes of copper and 200,000 ounces of gold in concentrate from more than 14.7 million tonnes of ore.

Mining is accessed via a single decline and uses a combination of longhole open stoping and sublevel caving mining methods. The orebody is hosted in a meta-sedimentary sequence with mineralisation occurring as steeply plunging lenses rich in chalcopyrite, the primary copper ore mineral.

Ore is processed through a conventional crush-grind-float circuit, achieving copper recoveries of 94–95% and producing a clean concentrate with valuable gold and silver by-products. The plant currently treats 725,000 tonnes per annum. An expansion to 1.1 million tonnes per annum is well underway under an EPC contract with GR Engineering Services (awarded on a fixed-cost basis of A$77.6 million), with commissioning targeted for the December 2026 Quarter.

Jericho – What it Means for Eloise

The nearby Jericho Copper Project, located just 4km south, is now under active underground development. The Jericho Access Drive reached the J1 mineralised lens in February 2026 – four months ahead of schedule – confirming geology and ground conditions consistent with the geological and geotechnical models. Underground ore development is underway, with approximately 12,000 tonnes of Jericho development ore processed during a batch trial through the Eloise plant.

Jericho will supplement Eloise ore feed, underpin production growth, reduce unit costs through scale, and diversify ore sources – positioning Eloise as a long-term cornerstone asset for AIC Mines.
