- About Us
AIC Mines is a growth focused Australian resources company
We own and operate the Eloise Copper Mine in North Queensland – an established, high-grade underground mine producing approximately 13,000 tonnes of copper and 6,000 ounces of gold annually. With the development of the nearby Jericho Copper Project underway and the expansion of the Eloise processing plant from 725ktpa to 1.1Mtpa progressing well on site, we are on track to grow production to over 20,000 tonnes of copper per year from FY28.
Our ~2,300km² landholding in the Mt Isa–Cloncurry region makes us one of the most active explorers in the area. Ongoing exploration success continues to extend mine life and drive future growth. Learn more about our exploration strategy.
Sustainability is core to how we operate. We are committed to safe, responsible mining, minimising our environmental footprint, and partnering with communities for long-term value. Read more about our core values and sustainability approach

The Eloise copper mine is located in North Queensland, 60 kilometres SE of Cloncurry and 155 kilometres ESE of Mt Isa. The mine has an extensive production history. It was commissioned in 1996 and has since mined over 14.5Mt of ore grading 2.7% Cu and 0.8g/t Au to produce 376,000t Cu and 195,000oz Au in concentrate.
Current operations consist of an underground mine accessed via decline. The upper levels of the mine (above 1,190m below surface) are extracted by longhole open stoping and the lower levels are extracted by sublevel caving and longhole stoping.
